
Nita Winter, a Marin City based award winning photographer, was born in 1954 in Glen Cove New York. Nita's fascination with photography was kindled as young girl by her father with whom she spent hours in the darkroom. Her own photographic passion began during her senior year at Clark University where she earned a degree in biology. After graduation she was awarded a three month fellowship at the Maine Photographic Workshop.
